If you can’t find me swimming laps at the pool after work, I’m most likely winding down at the end of the day through cross stitching. I bought a how-to book but basically tossed it after turning the first page and opted for the freestyling route. If you play around, experiment and just relax, the experience is that much more enjoyable and some goodies might come out of it.
More of my cross stitch series xoxo

It’s always a treat when I’m able to incorporate printing techniques such as letterpressing into my work. You can check out the results here!

I was bored. heh.
No, this is not a guide on how to slit your wrists you sick, sick people. Haha kidding. Not really.
Ok so I started thinking about my obsession with making multiple lists. It’s usually the same list, but for some odd reason it makes me feel better to have my “to-do’s” happily living on a variety of things, such as post-its, phones, Word docs, Google tasks, notebooks, scraps of paper, napkins… anything! And of course, on me. I find my wrist to be the best place to make a list because it can avoid my constant hand washing and it’s also easily hidden. Which made me think, wouldn’t it be cool to get a few lines tattooed on my wrist (or perhaps my forearm)? It could look graphically simple, abstract maybe, when blank but would come in handy for some quick scribbles. Yes, it’d probably hurt like hell but what better feeling than having your list so close to you? Oh, when you actually complete a task and are able to cross it out you say? Don’t even get me started.

It’s a long time comin’ but I am happy to report that she’s finally been found (click image for pre-scribble)! So thanks to those of you who have fed, bathed, and encouraged my trouble maker of a site back home. Shoot, some of you even tried to bribe her with treats but still no luck. She’s a stubborn one, my site. It’ll take some time getting used to the new environment, so please be patient as she attempts to shed her wild and primitive ways. As her owner, I’ll try my darn best to nurture her with plenty of love and attention so she doesn’t try to run away again. Which reminds me, I need to go buy some rope and chains.
